God Speaks: Pray, Read, Listen, Obey and Live

God spoke not only to Moses, Noah, and the prophets of the Old Testament but He is speaking to us today. He speaks to us through his Word, through His obedient children, through other people and in visions and dreams. The written word, The Holy Bible is one very important source from which we learn God’s will for all the different areas of our lives. Reading and studying the Word is important, but it is when we truly obey and put the word into practice; that is when we start to have a real growing relationship with the Living God as the Holy Spirit guides and leads us into all truth.

Scripture reads: He speaks in dreams, in visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they lie in their beds. He whispers in their ears and terrifies them with warnings. He makes them turn from doing wrong; he keeps them from pride. He protects them from the grave, from crossing over the river of death. (NLT) Job 33:15-18

God is not so distant; He cares for mankind. it is written: “The Lord is …not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” …2 Peter 3:9

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18 (KJV)

Pay Attention:

Pay special attention to what God is saying. “I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions” (Joel 2:28).

Our Father Who art in Heaven, through the sacrifice of the spotless Lamb Jesus Christ, has provided salvation for all. He has made provisions and blessings for souls, but there is an enemy; enemies of our souls that will fight God’s holy will for our lives. Scripture reads: The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full” (John 10:7–10). The enemy uses many different avenues against mankind to ensure that people secure a place in the pits of hell for themselves and others. One of those avenues is through our dreams. Our enemies and his agents work to plant evil in the hearts and lives of men.

The word of God says in Matthew 13:25 NIV: But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. Pay special attention to your dreams; they are key to our decisions and most of what happens in your daily lives. Dreams affects our destiny and our knowing and fulfilling our God given purpose.

Visions and dreams:

Like God’s Word, His children and provisions are as wheat. They are for our good and benefit our spirit, soul and body; such are blessings, God’s will for us. The scripture reads: This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live. Deuteronomy 30:19 (NIV) God is a Holy and just God who wants good, blessings for mankind so that we would prosper. We have the free will to choose.

If you wish to live and prosper, Accept, agree with, and live God’s will for your life.

Self- manufactured dreams are those dreams that are a result of our own minds and daily experiences; but comes through to the spiritual realm while we sleep.

Evil Dreams: The enemy on other hand, a created being, knows that his fate is definitely the lake of fire and forever wars against mankind. He works to deceive and take down as many souls as possible. He sows evil and death; the weeds and tares are the evils which Satan and his agents i.e., false prophets, witches, whoremongers etc. sow, even hide and work evils among God’s people to ensure spiritual blindness, discord, confusion, distraction and death.

If you wish to live, repent of any sin done in the dream and out; renounce, reject and/or cancel any and all evil agreements /Covenants made and only Accept, agree with and live God’s will for your life in Jesus’ name.

Believe it or not, know that even as you sleep in your bed, your body is resting, while the real you is interacting in the spiritual realm. Read or/and listen to the word, know and obey God’s word in the Holy Bible.

It is written: “My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge; because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, … seeing thou has forgotten the law of thy God. I will also forget thy children (Hosea 4:6). “

Without reading and being renewed in the word of God, and without repentance people are ignorant to The Truth and about their option to choose to change the course of their lives and the lives of future generations. Sin, going unrepented of, leads to death. It is written: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 (KJV)
